Lecture: Cultivate and cook with edible perennials!

Come and listen to a lecture on how to grow and cook with easy care, super-useful and environmentally friendly perennial vegetables.

The speakers Philipp Weiss and Annevi Sjöberg from Stjärnsund, Southern Dalarna is the author of the book Perennial vegetables - discover, grow, enjoy who was nominated for this year's garden book 2016. They will tell you about both known (t.ex. asparagus, rhubarb and horseradish) and unknown perennial vegetables (t.ex. potato bean, Blitum Bonus-Henricus and salladsaralia). You will learn the following and much more:

  • Why perennial vegetables are beneficial, easy care & environmentally friendly
  • How to grow perennial vegetables
  • What a polykultur is something
  • What perennial vegetable that is particularly good for bees and bees
  • How perennial vegetables used in cooking
  • How Russian old man got his name and what the lethal dose rhubarb pie is ...
  • As well as information on where to get plants and seeds

Place: Café Wahl's Main Square / Myrgatan 6, Hedemora

When? The 18 February at 15-17 incl. short break.

Coffee: You can only buy refreshments before the lecture begins, so get there early!

Cost: 50kr per person
