2-day course in forestry horticulture, Arvika

On this course you will learn how to establish a forest garden - a growing form inspired by how natural ecosystems work with the goal of producing a wide variety of fruits, bear, nuts and leafy vegetables while in storage of carbon dioxide and creating scope for increased biodiversity.

For two days, theory and practice of forestry horticulture art.

Off course content:

  • What is a forest garden really?
  • To read the landscape - microclimate, land, water and biodiversity
  • Forest garden's plants
  • establishment Technician
  • The art of creating functioning planted together
  • What do you consider to woodland garden will grow and thrive

This course gives you what you need to get started on their own or develop an initiated forest garden projects!

times: The course starts on Saturday 22 August at 9.00 and we finish the afternoon Sunday 23 August.

Teachers at the course: Martin Gustafsson, gardener with many years experience in forestry and horticulture Annevi Sjoberg active in the Forest Garden Variety Garden, and one of the authors Forest garden - grow edibles everywhere (This year's garden book 2018).

Course fee: 2600 kr (inkl moms). food included (coffee, lunch and dinner on Saturday, refreshments and lunch on Sunday). Breakfast gets you organize yourself. All money is refunded if we are forced to cancel the course due to Covid-19
