It's still a pretty good time of year to make offshoot, although early summer, after the initial strong growth of the plants is the absolute best time. It is an easy and fairly safe way to propagate their plants, but the hobby scale, there is no propagation method that provides many new plants, such as the more insecure methods cuttings and fröförökning. As with other vegetative propagation techniques become stacker a genetically identical clone of the mother plant.
There are many different ways to make layers and the easiest I want to go through in this post. The absolute easiest method works well on easily propagated plants as currants, gooseberries and their relatives in the family ripsväxter (Grossulariaceae). Suffice it to bend down the shoots to soil, add a stone at it, and then fold up the shot. As long as the shot is not going to do anything about it cracked, it is recommended even to damage the part of the plant that have contact with the soil to improve rooting. If you want you can put on the ground on the stone, but it is not really necessary. It is possible to dig up the new plant by next summer, but the safest way is to wait until late next fall or even the following spring before the vegetation period has begun.

A more advanced method involves first dig a small hole (ca 15 cm deep) as one bends down a branch. The branch can be fastened to the ground by a stone or a hook and bent up again on the other side of the hole. This method works well for otherwise hard-propagated plants as hazel.

Want to get a plant that sits in the pot right away, you can put down a pot hole, which you then fill with soil. The advantage of this is that it does not interfere avläggarens fragile root system when picking up the pot later.

Sometimes it may be a better option to bend the tip of the shoots in the soil to make a so-called toppavläggare. This method gives much better results, for example blackberries than usual offshoot.
There are numerous species which one multiply by offshoots. Many need one to two years to take root properly. The easiest way is with these plants can root itself within a few months:
| Swedish name | Botanical name |
| Kiwi genus | Actinidia spp. |
| Akebiasläktet | Akebia spp. |
| Vinhallon | Rubus phoenicolasius |
| Schisandra | Schisandra chinensis |
| Wine | Vitis spp. |
If you want to put it in the system to multiply their plants using offshoots can stimulate the mother plants produce many new shoots by cutting them down in the fall and then fertilize them heavily in spring. This process creates the amounts of new shoots that one can do offshoots and it's a way to get quite a number of new plants at once.

Thanks for the tip. Today I bent a few branches down on my parents mug shame (gooseberry)
